NNF 2007/ 013 Current Delays in Border Processing
 

The Australian Customs Service (Customs) has advised the Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of Australia Inc (CBFCA) of the following details : "there are a number of containers currently affected by a heightened level of Border Processing activity this past week and Customs is addressing this backlog as quickly as possible. Clients with a genuine request for facilitation can forward their request to the Customs Help Desk for referral to the appropriate work area for further assessment and action."
